Korea's history is very long and bloody, which is much of the reason the Koreans are so fiercely proud of their heritage. So proud in fact that even their flag has a lot of meaning behind it. Korea even has it's own Creation story which is where the name for Tan'Gun comes from. The history of Taekwondo is interesting too, and has clearly been influenced by it's surrounding friends...and enemies.
