Personal Ambition: To achieve greatness and be the best that I can be! I train four times a week as I find the class fab and highly addictive. I feel like I'm missing out if I can't attend for any reasons. I am an ADDER (Adult with ADHD) so I am driven, motivated and really want to compete in competitions as I have always had an interest in martial arts but never really been in a position to prioritise it!
I love to spar and have always been a fighter, that's a side effect of growing up with older brothers I suppose LOL... No names mentioned eh Tony.... Anyway, Taekwondo is now also a part of my treatment programme for managing my ADHD as it gives me an outlet for all that energy and in turn, minimising my restlessness.

I will get my BLACK BELT and will wear it with honour. It will mean the world to me as I will know that my determination and dedication to the art of Taekwondo will have paid off.
I know I have only been training a few months but I know this is for me. I recently got my Yellow Belt and it was a proud moment. It has inspired me and given me the confidence to train hard and learn the patterns (however difficult I initially seem to find them).

As an ADDER my learning styles are very different but David is now aware and to date, has been very supportive. I forgive you for those 15 push-ups! LOL...

I work as a Social Worker with young people and will endeavour to promote Tan Gun Taekwondo. I found the club warm, friendly and David, alongside the other students willing to support and encourage me and my family to train hard and acheive my black belt status. Initially, I was worried that I had left it too late and really thought that Taekwondo would just be a fun activity that me and my daughter could do together. How wrong could I have been!

We both love Taekwondo and feel a real sense of belonging. Perhaps this also has something to do with Tony and Lewis also attending class for a long time and constantly talking about it and how wonderful David is!!!
